Hello-
I compress my rips with BD Rebuilder prior to using MakeMKV. Roughly one-third of these are processed by MakeMKV without issue, but more often MakeMKV locks up trying to perform the initial open/read of the folder structure.
I realize this may be a BD Rebuilder issue, but I need help interpreting the MakeMKV logs in order to know where to begin. MakeMKV logs for failures contain the following lines repeated over and over until I terminate the MakeMKV processes:

I love MakeMKV when it does work for me and am otherwise completely satisfied with my license purchase. Thank you.

Re: Log DEBUG Code 1444
This one means "blu-ray LPCM audio stream is incorrect". Can you try to figure out what causes this? Do you see the same error on original disc? Can you demux M2TS file with tsMuxer?

Re: Log DEBUG Code 1444
Mike-
Thank you for the reply. With your info about the error being LPCM-related, I decided to look further into a specific disc/example. In this case, I am working with Army of Shadows.
The original disk opens and processes in MakeMKV without issue.
Both the original disc and the BD Rebuilder disk open in Arcsoft TMT5 and play the LPCM track without issue.
Troubleshooting:
I don't know much about CLPI files, but I am attaching them, in case they are helpful.
Is there anything else you would like me to provide or test?
Thank you.

Troubleshooting:
- The single M2TS containing the main movie is the only M2TS file on the disc with an LPCM track. Deleting this file enables MakeMKV to open and process the rest of the disc without issue.
- Demuxing the identified M2TS from each disk with tsMuxeR yeilds MD5-identical WAV files. Both WAV files play successfully in various player applications.
- MediaInfo for the LPCM track within the M2TS file from each disk is nearly identical, with the only difference being a Language tag added on the BD Rebuilder disc (see below).
Code: Select all
ID : 4352 (0x1100)
Menu ID : 1 (0x1)
Format : PCM
Format settings, Endianness : Big
Format settings, Sign : Signed
Muxing mode : Blu-ray
Codec ID : 128
Duration : 2h 25mn
Bit rate mode : Constant
Bit rate : 0
Channel(s) : channel0
Sampling rate : 48.0 KHz
Bit depth : 24 bits
Language : French
Is there anything else you would like me to provide or test?
Thank you.

Re: Log DEBUG Code 1444
Likely an error in MakeMKV. Thanks for info, it should be enough.
