Anytime I try to create a .mkv file of blu ray backups I've created, the same "failed to save title" occurs. I use BD Rebuilder to create a movie only backup of the blu ray disk, usually to DVD9, and create an .iso. When trying to process the .iso or created physical DVD9 disk, the same "failed to save title error" occurs. There are no issues playing the backups either through a software or standalone player. Re-inserting the original, either physical disk or image, no problems. Here's a copy of one of the logs:
Using direct disc access mode
AVCHD metadata found
File 00000.m2ts was added as title #0

LIBMKV_TRACE: Exception: Error while reading input
Failed to save title 0 to file E:/Video/THE_KARATE_KID/20090425010000-BACKUP0000.mkv
0 titles saved, 1 failed
Not sure if this is a limitation of the software or something within the backup structure that causes the error.
Thanks

Re: Failed to save title
Hi!
It seems that MakeMKV has a problem processing compressed Blu-ra material from both BD Rebuilder and MultiAVCHD.
My guess would be that MakeMKV adheres to strict standards, while the other two don't...

Re: Failed to save title
The AVC video doesn't conform to blu-ray specification. Next version would process such discs.
