I've just downloaded and installed MakeMKV and it's saying my evaluation period has expired and I have to buy.
When I try to buy using my AU address and payment details it insists on charging me the EU VAT of 20%.
Anyway round any of this?
Thanks
Paul
MKV won't run - can't buy
Re: MKV won't run - can't buy
To use the beta key, you need to temporarily set your system date to a date before it expired. The current beta key expires at the end of this month; if you are just installing MakeMKV from a fresh download, the key in the archive expired at the end of September.

As for VAT, that will have to be brought up with Avangate, because they're the ones collecting it. If you're paying Australian dollars with an AU address, IP, and credit card, they should be charging AU VAT at 10%. The program's author, Mike, really doesn't have control over that.
