Why any particular person "hates" a particular product is up to them. I suspect there is a lot of residual dislike for AnyDVD because they took long-term license fees right up until the day the original company shut down operations years ago, then the new company started, and wouldn't honor those previous licenses.
I've never used it, so I have no "skin in the game".

On a technical level, what does AnyDVD get wrong? Most specifically, is there a problem with the decrypted ISO backups made with AnyDVD?
