When ripping Blu-rays with DTS audio, it always shows up as two nested tracks: A "DTS-HD MA Surround 5.1 English" track with a "DTS Surround 5.1 English" sub-track.
In the final MKV file, there are two audio tracks both labeled "5.1 Surround".
What's the story here?
DTS Audio Question
Re: DTS Audio Question
Any DTS HD track (Extention of the Core) includes an DTS Core 5.1 track, that's the reason my MakeMKV shows the selection to extract the DTS MA (uses much more space) and/or the DTS Core 5.1 track. The Label is only a literal Name, no idea why the text is always "Surround 5.1". You can change it with MKVToolNIX Header Editor.
Good Luck
