Curious why updates show on this forum last?

Seems like it's a waste of time to look in news and announcements to see if there's a new version since VideoHelp.com will have the announcement the day before. Just seems kind of weird they would know about it first

The download section of the site is updated before the forum. Not to mention that latest MakeMKV can check for the latest version automatically. If enabled it also will display the latest available version in about box.
