Anyone help me?

I have a Panasonic SD5 Camcorder, with which I took many videos of my sister’s wedding. I am fond of these videos and I want to save them to DVD for a gift for my sister. But I don’t know what to do. I just extract them to my Mac notebook, but difficult to import them to Quicktime. So, my question is how to transfer my camera videos to Quicktime? And how to keep these files in a DVD?
