Ability to discard chapter marks?
Ability to discard chapter marks?
This might be a feature request of sorts. I would like to see an checkable entry for "Chapter Marks" under titles in the same vein as audio streams and subtitles, so that you can discard them. Is this possible? Thanks.

Re: Ability to discard chapter marks?
Do you need to discard chapter information or parts of the video file? If former, there is a freeware program, "mkv chapter editor" or similarly named, that can edit and discard chapters in MKV file without rebuilding entire file.
Re: Ability to discard chapter marks?
I want to remove the chapter marks themselves, not data by these marks. Chapter marks are often extremely arbitrary and unnecessary additions to commercial DVDs, especially for 30 minute television episodes. I don't see them as being part of the original presentation. I'd rather not have to add another program to my already large arsenal when it could be as easy as unchecking "Chapter Marks" under the title tree.
