I have quite a few HD DVD's that I'd love to convert to MKV's, as well. With program support for HD DVD's dwindling, converting them to a more usable format does seem like a logical thing to do. Converting HD DVD's to an MKV with HD audio and PGS subs would definitely rock.

As an interim measure would it be easier to allow backing up of HDDVDs to folder? Other tools like EAC3TO could then process the decrypted files and turn them into MKVs.

The next version should have much better HD-DVD support. Just about time.

1.6.0 is a massive improvement for HDDVD
3 out of 3 good rips so far. Just purchased. Thanks Mike.
