First off hello to everyone and thank you Mike for building a great program.
There is an ongoing collaborative Google spreadsheet for forced subs here http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key= ... LwQA&hl=en which I have found very helpful. Some of them are real surprises which goes with the OP's concern of missing them in a rip. The more people who use and add to the spreadsheet the better it will be.
As far as the best way to burn them into the feature, still experimenting and the 'best' way certainly depends on whether you are compressing the title or not. There is a decent step by step how to in the Handbrake forum that works ( http://forum.handbrake.fr/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=16784 ), but I think there may be an easier method and I hope to try it out this weekend.
