Still having this issue, are there any known plans to add a way to view the titles or an option not to skip? Kind of cumbersome to have to backup the whole BD. I'm having this problem with ripping a TV series, where it thinks the bonus content (audio commentary over episodes) is the same as the episode itself.

This is unfortunately a known problem. The only workaround available is a bit lengthy:

1. Make a full disc backup with MakeMKV, encrypted or decrypted, doesn't matter
2. Navigate into backup folder, then into BDMV, PLAYLIST and delete the file 00030.mpls
3. Open produced backup with MakeMKV and make MKV out of it.
Just wanted to add something to this for macOS users.

The approach Mike said works, but you have to make sure that you right click the BDMV file and select "Show Packaged Contents". Otherwise Finder just says it's a AVCHD Collection. Once you select Show Packaged Contents, you can scroll down and find the PLAYLIST folder, and then manually deleted the .mpls files that are causing issues.

If you knew this, scroll on! You learn something new about your OS every day...

This should have been fixed long ago... Do you have a disc that reproduces the issue?

I am encountering this issue with Wreck-It Ralph. The correct playlist is 802, but 800 is identical. 800 is the version with Spanish words on the signs in the movie and 802 is the English.
