having trouble with choppy video

Most of the Blu-rays that I have converted have been good in terms of quality, but I am getting choppiness when I have trying to convert New Moon. Does anyone know how to avoid this?

New moon ripped via MakeMKV played just fine for me. If it's VC-1 encoded, some systems choke a bit on it. I use the MPC-HC standalone codec in place of the windows media foundation for VC-1 content which helps a lot.
