When using Optiarc BD RW BD-5730S USB Device can Makemkv rip blurays from any region?

With Blu-Rays, regions are implemented in software instead of hardware. Makemkv obviously does not implement this anti-feature. So any drive should work with all regions. In fact Makemkv is usually able to circumvent DVD regions on single region drives.
