Have the makers of MakeMKV ever received a Cease and Desist?

I am wondering, and I hope it isn't too much to ask, but have the makers of MakeMKV ever received a Cease and Desist letter from, well, anyone? I have been using the product for probably two years but I bet this scares the crap out of the studios. I wouldn't put it past them to send nastygrams. On the other hand, I believe that MakeMKV is engineered outside the US, so doubt US law (DMCA, etc.) applies at all. Anything that you care to share? I'd like a laugh especially if you send back funny responses like certain websites have in the past.
