Branching paths/X-in-1-Style editions?

It's been about 3 years since it was initially requested: http://www.makemkv.com/forum2/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=897

Any chance we'll see this feature hit? It would be really useful for movies like Leon or the Alien series.
