Licensing question / reinstallation

Post by superspartan »

I format my laptop a lot and most my licensed programs offer the ability to de-activate the license.

I also own 2 laptops but never use them at the same time so my questions are:

1) Am I able to uninstall/reinstall MakeMKV and register the program with my licenses freely or is there a limit?

2) Is it ok to use it on 2 laptops provided they're not being used actively at the same time? My 2nd laptop is just a backup laptop.

Keep your key where you can copy/paste it in. The same key will work for multiple machines. Personally, I keep mine in the email that I received, up until someone stole multiple computers last year. Then I needed to find one of my remaining computers to pull it from.

I used to also run it on 2 or 3 machines at the same time, when doing large reads. 3 machines gave me 5 drives normally, plus drives that could be plugged in via USB.

Got it, thank you.
