Adding different subtitle

I have a big 4k movie collection but most of them don’t have portuguese subtitles. Is it possible to add portuguese subtitles after I rip them?

So it was a little dificult but I finally found a safe site Where I can download MKVToolNix GUI. I know I can get it free but I think I’m going to by it from Microsoft Store to support the creators.

I learned I can extract the subtitles from the riped mkv file with MkVExtract.

Now I need a software to translate the subtitle to portuguese.

I searched the web and found several tools to do it some free others payed (specially the ones that use AI to translate). What software do you recomend to make the translation?

You realize that, if you purchase something from Microsoft "to support the author" of a program the author gives for free, you are supporting Microsoft, rather than the author?
