Attempting to rip HD-DVD of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
I'm trying to rip an HD-DVD of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, but MakeMKV gives a "Failed to open disc" error with no other explanation. I'm using an LG GGC-H20L drive on Windows 11 on MakeMKV v1.18.2. The disc's encrypted contents copy fine with Explorer, so the Warner Bros. rot hasn't gotten to it yet.

Re: Attempting to rip HD-DVD of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
It seems like there are issues with disc access based on the debug logs. Have you tried troubleshooting the disc or drive? Checking the disc integrity or drive connections might help resolve the problem.
