I would agree with you. However... fixing that would be the author's job. I would actually suggest dropping calling it "Expert mode" and making it the default (or just make Expert "on" when installed), but... I have to be careful, because I've had it turned on "forever", so I forget some things that do not appear with it off.I would argue that naming of the files is a basic feature, not an expert feature.

Naming episodes can be easy. Sometimes it is a pain, but most of the time if you change the Top "Title" field, all the titles below will change to match that.
Example:
Friends Season 3 Disc 1
Change it to:
Friends - s03e
Now, when you hit enter, all the titles for the items below will be formatted in this way.
Title 1 : Friends - s03e
Title 2 : Friends - s03e
Title 3 : Friends - s03e
Title 4 : Friends - s03e
Now, you can click on the first video title - select the "Name" field and type in the remaining episode number - "01" to the end. DONT CLICK ANYTHING ELSE. Just hit the "down" arrow key. This will move you to the next title in the list. and you can add the "02" to the end. REPEAT till all episodes are named.
Will look like this after:
Title 1 : Friends - s03e01
Title 2 : Friends - s03e02
Title 3 : Friends - s03e03
Title 4 : Friends - s03e04
Start your rip! You can also open the disk in your DVD Player of choice to confirm which titles are which episodes. I have found certain companies don't always put them in order on the disc titles, so best to double check before or after.
