I saw a post by one of the mods over the weekend in reply to someone else’s post. They know as much as we do at this point and can’t offer an ETA on when normal service will resume.chris6945629 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 05, 2025 9:39 pmI don't know what's going on. I like this product, but something isn't right here. I hope the developer is okay. My only question is why aren't the moderators helping us/keeping us updated?

As I said in my post that the mods will not publish, this is not how to run a business and this is why you appoint an agent to operate and manage the software if you are incapacitated or unavailable. A pity, because it's a fine product. I just had 88 CAD refunded to me after three days of silence from the dev. That's quite a bit of money to me.

I agree with you. I'm sure we all think and feel the same way. Communication is key.tangiblecartwheel wrote: ↑Tue Aug 05, 2025 11:31 pmAs I said in my post that the mods will not publish, this is not how to run a business and this is why you appoint an agent to operate and manage the software if you are incapacitated or unavailable. Keep in mind that under normal circumstances, from what I can tell he does. Based on the comments from others here, as well as comments from Mike in the past when this has happened (only once as far as I can tell), typically PayProGlobal usually has a stock of keys that they can send when people purchase one. It appears like Mike typically sends them batches of keys as they get low, thus there's usually no problem. Once before, there was an issue where it appears that PayProGlobal ran out of keys and didn't tell Mike or something because Mike seemed rather annoyed by the fact that they were suddenly telling people purchasing keys "hey, go email the vendor about this" and said something to the effect of "this shouldn't have happen and they shouldn't be telling people that". It seems as though whatever happened the last time was non-standard under normal circumstances.tangiblecartwheel wrote: ↑Tue Aug 05, 2025 11:31 pmAs I said in my post that the mods will not publish, this is not how to run a business and this is why you appoint an agent to operate and manage the software if you are incapacitated or unavailable. As many people have said, what seemed to have occurred over the past couple days is very much out of character for Mike which likely means he's dealing with something personally that has suddenly required his full attention away from the upkeep here, and the timing of PayProGlobal running out of keys is likely just horrible timing coinciding with Mike being unable to respond as quickly as he typically would.
Ultimately, this is a product that is owned and developed by a single person and has been run as such smoothly for many years now. Give the guy a break and be patient. I'm sure that when he's able, he will be back, he will see to this mess just like the last time, and will likely try to do something to avoid it happening again in the future. Until then, give the guy a bit of slack as he's just as human as the rest of us.
