Cannot write blu ray after decoding

Post by charlie62 »

When I upgraded from windows 7 to the latest version I found I couldn’t write to hard drive or disc. If I had known this would happen it would never have been done. Can you tell me the reason it was changed.

Nah that's not a thing

What exactly are you trying to do?

You are providing only bits and pieces and therefore nobody will figure out the nature of your problem(s).

The very last page on MakeMKV is not the page it should be instead of the normal one there is a page stating there is no soundtrack available for the file. I’m sorry if this not clear but is what I’m seeing thanks

MakeMKV does not play videos. Are you trying to use Windows Media Player with a .mkv file? Windows Media Player won't play DTS audio tracks by default. You have a download a codec pack.

I seem to have got everyone confused which is not my purpose, anyhoo I must say now this not something I am comfortable with. After using makemkv to unscramble you are left with the file which you can send
into a file folder but at the moment when the file is written it tells me there is no sound on the file

I have recently changed from windows 10 to latest version of windows not sure if this has any bearing but would be grateful for any useful feedback

I have been using this, programme for years without any problems

Thank you in anticipation

Perhaps you can post a screen shot of what you're seeing?

We can't play the audio for THE LAST STARFIGHTER - 4K UHD.
Its encoded in 7 format which isn't supported. You can still watch the video.
