I've got a few wishes.
this is the workflow to fetch a medium:
- insert DVD
- wait for drive to become ready
- press button
- wait for makeMKV to analyse the DVD
- select items
- press another button
- confirm question "create directory?"
- confirm successful read by pressing OK.
- eject
I would like to just skip points 3 and 7. and maybe 5&6 too.
Point 7 the question to CREATE the directory does more harm than good. because you are skipping this question without reading it. But if it was replaced with "do you want to override?" and you don't realize it, this will delete previously read data.
Point 8, well. I would prefer a full window replacement "successfully finshed" with pressing spacebar to proceed. I don't want to move my hand to the mouse.
Point 9 automatically eject? Maybe before message 8?
a few optimizations for the directory name:
- if DVDname="DVDVolume" (where does this come from?) ask for name please.
- if DVDname all uppercase change to "Normal Spelling", maybe customizable separator like space, underscore, minus or none.

apart from this it's a great program. The ripping itself work perfectly. It even can rip from images taken by eg. safecopy if the DVD is bad. I already bought it years ago and started using it recently again.
