Hello all
I am working my way through some older Blu-Rays and have come across a few that have, for example:
DTS-HD MSTR 7.1
DTS Surround 5.1
I have a 5.1 System, so is it possible to Set the Default Audio Track to 5.1 and not the 7.1?
Thanks in advance
Kevin
Setting Default Audio Track
Re: Setting Default Audio Track
If you highlight a track in MakeMKV, then select MKV Flags in the properties box on the right, you can set the default flag by putting a 'd' in the box. You can also remove that flag by removing the 'd'. For subtitles, you can also set the forced flag by putting an 'f'.
After the fact, you can set those flags with the MKVToolNix tools.
MediaInfo is a handy tool to look at those details and more in a .mkv file.

Hello
Thanks for the Reply.
I did not know that could be done in MakeMKV prior to creating the File, I shall have to try for the next Movie that I need to Set the Default Audio Track for.
Thanks for the Tip.
