Generally, for movies, I rip Blu Ray and UHD to MKV for my Zidoo player, don’t need menus for movies.
But, for my Concert BD i like the full menu structure to easily pick chapter/songs by name. My 8K Zidoo player likes .ISO for full menus.
I’m trying to understand the best way to get the .ISO?
1) Bakeup to MKV with MakeMKV, then run ImageBurn.
Or
2)Run InageBurn with AnyDVD running in background.
I assume these two options will give same results in the end?
Any preference for these options?
Thanks,
Tom
.ISO for Concert Blu Ray
Re: .ISO for Concert Blu Ray
Rip to folder with Makemkv (second icon in the top bar). Then pick BDMV and CERTIFICATE folder in Imgburn and create ISO with UDF 2.5.Tom899 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 17, 2024 10:47 amGenerally, for movies, I rip Blu Ray and UHD to MKV for my Zidoo player, don’t need menus for movies.

If you also own AnyDVD just right click and "rip to image" = ISO.
Re: .ISO for Concert Blu Ray
Yes, I also own AnyDVD, so one step instead of two. Just wanted to make sure end result is the same? If it’s beneficial to use MakeMKV first then ImageBurn for some reason other than time because it’s two steps?
Re: .ISO for Concert Blu Ray
No. Creating ISOs that way is just easier than the 2 steps needed with Makemkv.
