Again, I'm streaming this, not ripping (just making sure we're on the same page). Apparently what is selected has no effect. I can select he 5.1 track or the 7.1 or neither or just the French track for that matter and all the tracks show up-- well, except of course the English 5.1 track. Unless I'm missing something. Is there a way to have only certain tracks stream? That's the question.
The media info shows that there are 5 audio tracks (there would be 6 if the 5.1 English were included).

Re: 7.1 not Recognized - only 5.1
With streaming MakeMKV simply shares a decrypted M2TS file - so yes, selection doesn't matter. It's up to the player to properly interpret M2TS file contents.
Re: 7.1 not Recognized - only 5.1
Thanks for that clarification. So, then this narrows it down to the player and the question becomes, does anyone know of a player that is capable of properly interpreting these audio tracks?

Is there a drop down box that says 7.1 or 5.1? All I see are the LPCM or DD or the 3/2+1
