I am a ~10 year old registered user on Linux, and I lost my old buidmakemkv script that I used to build new versions.
I saw that 1.17 is out, so I downloaded a new version from here: https://github.com/b-jesch/buildMakeMKV ... MakeMkv.sh
Unfortunately, I was stupid and didn't look over the script carefully enough, and lines 25-35 overwrote my keyfile with the beta key.
I've searched my e-mail for the purchase e-mail and can't find it...is there a way to recover it? If it was sent to my old e-mail address, it's probably gone by now, since it was ~10 years ago.
Not sure where to go from here...it could have been one of 3 different e-mail addresses (I am an e-mail administrator, and at one point was hosting multiple domains at home, but now just use g-mail for everything...).
new makemkv script erased my paid key
Re: new makemkv script erased my paid key
Write a message to Mike Admin (two words, admin of the forum) or an email to svq@makemkv.com asking about your existing key; he's the one that can take care of it.
