Feature Comparison with DVDFab Passkey

Hey everyone,

I'm curious and have a small question: When I make a decrypted backup of a BluRay, what kind of protections are removed?

Passkey for example lets me choose to remove the following:

Does MakeMKV remove all of those as well? Is it even useful to remove all of them and so MakeMKV doesn't remove all?

no. makemkv only removes aacs and bd+ encryption (all that's needed to convert to mkv). It does nothing to ensure you have a region free / java protection removed disc. That's not its goal.
