makemkv seems to be the only software that can read Bluray under Linux. Unfortunately it is a bit inconvenient as a player: you need lots of hard disk space, and you need to rip the disk first before you can watch it.
So I would really welcome a live play feature. And when it comes to pricing, I could use a version without the ripping function. Let's face it: for 52 Euro (80 dollars!) I can get a standalone Bluray player, that is a lot more convenient, so this price is really putting me (and certainly other people) off.

Re: Bluray player feature?
You can play a Blu-ray disc instantly on Linux or even many standalone devices with MakeMKV - see "streaming" feature.
