Beta key active but evaluation period expired?

Hi, I am a beginner with makeMKV and I am not off to a good start.

Can anyone help me with this issue? I can't open a disc because the evaluation period has ended but the beta key is good until November???

The BD features expire after 30 days after first use with a beta key.

However, you can RESTART the 30 days by updating the beta key, even though it hasn't changed.

yeah, i've done this before. but this time, i'm having the exact same issue as the OP so it's not just him.

I'm having the same issue this time. It tells me that either the software version is too old or that I should get the current registration key and it does accept it when I enter it but keepy giving me the evaluation period error

Same for me.

I got both the expired key message and outdated version message. I've tried the September key again, as well as a full uninstall and reinstall and get the same evaluation period expired message.

I'm guessing that September is already over in some parts of the world and we now need an October Beta key.

Me too .. something changed .. getting expired key message as well as outdated version .. have both current version and beta key valid until end of September.

current doesn't necessarily mean working though.

the new, updated key works fine though.

True, but it will (eventually) have the working key, even when there is a delay.
