Re: LibreDrive for Pioneer drives

Here is the drive info from MakeMKV. Am I screwed? Drive Information OS device name: F: Current profile: BD-ROM Manufacturer: PIONEER ...

Re: LibreDrive for Pioneer drives
Hi! I'm a little confused about the purpose of LibreDrive and UHD support and was hoping some helpful folks here could clarify some things for me. I have a Pioneer Electronics BDR-XD07B, originally purchased in 2019 and still running the original firmware. The drive does not currently read UHD disk...

Re: Pioneer firmware update February 2023
So I finally decided to purchase MakeMKV. It was working great for me. I purchased it, and while doing so because I was going to rip a bunch of Blu-Rays I thought I'd look for an updated firmware. There was one for my Pioneer BDR-XD07U, so I flashed it because I hadn't touched in a while, and typic...

Re: Selling Flashed UHD Drives Pioneer & LG,USB/C,sleep bug fix,Remote Flashing,Tested& Makemkv Discount
I too got a drive from Billy. As everyone says, fast and well packed. I haven't tired it yet, but I assume it will be fine. But I have a question -- I read that Ubuntu 24.04 is going to come equipped to automatically install firmware updates. I'm only functional as a Linux driver. If that is someth...

Re: Linux How To: Flash ASUS-BW-16D1HT
V1.05 is encrypted. You need to add 'enc' to the command line. I have tried adding enc after the rawflash parameter like I read in a post above - sudo makemkvcon f -f sdf_00000065.bin -d /dev/sr0 rawflash enc -i HL-DT-ST-BD-RE_WH16NS60-1.02-NM00100-211810291936.bin [sudo] password for dennis: Param...

@billycar11 I went back reread the post last night and flashed according to this. BP50NB40 to > BP50NB40-NB50-1.03MK then to > BP60NB10 1.02MK or 1.00MK NB52 to > BP50NB40-NB50-1.03MK with enc > BP50NB40-NB50-1.03MK with bootloader/full flash >BP60NB10 1.00_HBD from Marty download/file.php?id=2143 ...

Re: Ultimate UHD Drives Flashing Guide Updated 2023
I have problem with my ASUS BW-16D1HT disconnecting when it tries to seek on regular Blu-ray disc and fails. I tried crossflashing it with BH16NS60 1.02 and WH16NS58 1.V5 trying to seek FW that will work better on it. Still have no success. Has anyone encountered this problem? (probably yes and I j...

Re: Can't read AACS VID from disc
I just started ripping movies today and was able to convert a Blu-Ray however I'm having this issue with two of my 4K Ultra HD dvds. I'm getting "Can't read AACS VID from disc - most likely current AACS host certificate is revoked by your drive" This is what I have from Info section: Driv...
