AV sync issues

Getting a ton of AV sync issues w/my laptop. I'm on the latest version of makemkv. I've noticed that this doesn't occur on my other laptop. Assumed my bd-rom drive was failing, but just made an mkv off of a backup on a usb drive and had the same issues. Log is attached. any solution to this?

Re: Correct playlist for War of the Worlds 4k and bluray?

After i back up this disk, it's taking up the entirety of my 16:9 screen. It's weird bc most of my backups are letterbox/scope images.

Did i do something wrong?

Re: Ultimate UHD Drives Guide Updated 2020

Yes if you've got room for a 9.5mm drive the BU40N will work for you. Feel free to drop me a line if you'd like one my info is the link in my signature. Thank you! very cool. I've also got a windows laptop that has a 12.5mm blu-ray drive. Are any of the supported UHD drives compatible for a 12.5mm ...

Failing Drive/More AV sync issues?

Hi guys- I've been using my laptop BD drive for years now w/o issue. As of late I've been getting a lot of AV sync issues that give me time stamps of the issue. This occurs on multiple different Blu-ray discs. A few times, i'll get the error that there are too many AV sync issues. But despite the AV...

Re: Ultimate UHD Drives Guide Updated 2020

I have an early macbook pro 2011. I took out the optical drive at the time and replaced it with a 2nd hard drive. Now that i'm backing up my collection, I was thinking of throwing in an internal optical drive. I was looking at the supported drives on p. 1 of this thread and saw the bu40n, a 9.5mm dr...

debug code 233

Hi guys- I've been getting debug code 233's while opening discs. Discs are pretty clean looking. The operation will successfully complete, but just worried if this will have an effect on the output file. Here is an example: DEBUG: Code 233 at TsrjXW7K3NzKbFPrMZ8OdiAA:0 DEBUG: Code 233 at tRFaDW+UZkB...

Re: Dolby Vision and 1.15.1

All my discs are ripped as MKVs with Plex server serving to 2019 Shield and several ATV4Ks. All my DV discs are additionally ripped to full folder backup and can be streamed to my Oppo 203 if I want DV. I made a few DV TS files with THD/Atmos as per the excellent work from all contributors here whi...

Re: Star Wars 4Ks

With the new version of Make MKV, I ripped a back up folder of the entire Bluray, the went back and made MKV's of the films. I was having trouble with Episode II, and IV, and Rogue One. Audio out of sync, some jumpy frames. So far, all of that has cleared up. So, the new update does work. Thanks so...

Re: Dolby Vision and 1.15.1

try turning off the new player in your plex settings and make sure frame rate match is turned on. both options can be found on the same line under plex settings. on app.plex.tv through my computer browser, or on the plex settings on my nvidia shield? these will be settings on the shield in the plex...

Re: Dolby Vision and 1.15.1

I'm confused by your question. Step 1 is to rip the disc to MKV using MakeMKV so you're not doing anything with m2ts or mpls files. You're using MakeMKV to select the proper title and rip it to MKV. I personally don't keep languages I don't care about. My default profile rules in MakeMKV is to sele...

Re: Dolby Vision and 1.15.1

Related question - does anyone believe that projectors will one day be able to do anything with DV input? I mean, ones that are for consumer market - not those that are $100K units or whatever. I hope so. Seems like projectors lag behind tv tech by a couple of years. DV would be hard for PJ's bc yo...

In step 1, do you use the m2ts file after opening up the disc, or the mpls file? Should i leave all languages checked? I'm confused by your question. Re: Dolby Vision and 1.15.1

For those that are looking to make this work in the easiest way possible: 1) Rip to MKV with MakeMKV 2) eac3to titlename.mkv 2: titlename.thd+ac3 Note: titlename should be replaced with the actual name of the MKV 3) Add the MKV and the thd+ac3 track to TSMuxer 4) Remux to TS I've done this to a few...
