I don't have any new one as my latest added on the fly DoVi converting for profile 7, FEL.
It's v21 though, and not really ready.

Known issue of the device. It shows a blank screen for FEL titles.
The problem used to be fixed on 4K Max, but an update reintroduced it and FEL files don't work anymore.

Quick update about the FireTV Stick 4K Max (2021).
It now seems to support CMv4.0 metadata. I just got an update to FireOS 7.6.0.3 (PS7603/3110).

Hopefully it was planned, since Amazon's new shows seem to use CMv4.0.

What test? mpv only supports the initial colour conversion (namely ICtCp to YCbCr, polynomial, and MMR mapping).
Any other dynamic metadata isn't used at all.

Clearly the file you're using as source has incorrect metadata order.
Nothing you can do other than having access to the original retail source for the HDR10+ metadata.
