Re: Pioneer drive on Mac stopped reading disk?
Seems that the drive is defect. You can try cleaning the lenses (disconnect any cable before opening) but I've no another idea. Sorry. Perhaps another member has an idea.

Re: Black Hawk Down 4K UHD - a few different errors
Information:
BW-16D1HT with Firmware WH16NS60 MK1.02 was ripping 100% of the BHD 4K disc without any problems.

How it's connected to the notebook?
Even the read in doesn't work?

Pioneer BDR-206 + BDR-207 (D-/EBK)
Generally asked:
Is the BDR-208 the lowest modell number, which can be flashed to 4K compatibility with e.g. Billy's tools?
Or is there a solution for 206/207 also?

Thanks Coopervid!
Bad luck, I'll tell him so. He said, that he has another USB ASUS drive at his girlfriends home, perhaps this is better for flashing. We'll see.....

Re: Asus BW-16D1HT
When the problem exist before flashing, there could be a general problem with the drive.
Try to clean the lenses with alcohol and toilett paper or a lint-free cloth if you dare. Do it on your own risk and DO NOT OPEN the drive WITHOUT DISCONNECT any cable! You only have two eyes.

Re: Black Hawk Down 4K UHD - a few different errors
I have cleaned it so before the ripping process (and the disc was flawless). I wonder if regular 4K UHD Player have these problems? Is the reading process for direct playback and ripping so much different....?!

Re: Black Hawk Down 4K UHD - a few different errors
With the BHD disc I've made my experience today also. With an ASUS BC-12D2HT with MK3.11 even the read in wasn't possible. An ASUS BW-16D1HT with MK3.10 (my usual) had no problem with read in but after about 50% of ripping it broke up with the known error. Pioneer BDR-209 with firmware BDR-211 no pr...

Re: Ultimate UHD Drives Flashing Guide Updated 2024
Oh, yeah, what a difference. Speed up to 8x, only <6x with slow increase with the "original" MK firmware. And the same 3-layer-disc (Chinatown) was ripped without error.
Great, thanks a lot @ Coopervid

Re: Ultimate UHD Drives Flashing Guide Updated 2024
Ok, thank you!
With MK 1.03 a 3-Layer-Disc (Chinatown) war ripped up to 75%. Then an error occurs. I'll test with another 3-Layer and some 2-Layer.....

Re: Ultimate UHD Drives Flashing Guide Updated 2024
Hi, I have here a CH12NS40 with MT1959, found in the basement room, lying around for about 7 years.
Which MK-Firmware will be the best? 1.01 oder 1.03?
Thanks!
