Re: BUG Report: Wrong optical drive from remote desktop
Thank you for the reply. I will try running MakeMKV as an administrator and see if that corrects the issue.

BUG Report: Wrong optical drive from remote desktop
It would be very handy for me to be able to use Windows Remote Desktop to rip Blu-rays but when I do so, MakeMKV looks at the REMOTE computer's optical drive instead of the local one. In other words, if I'm remoting into a desktop via laptop and have a blu-ray in the desktop, MakeMKV wants to rip fr...

Re: The Age of Adaline (2015) playlist obfuscation
I'm confused, my playlist 611 does not have the order shown in previous posts, in fact none of the playlists have 510 as the 2nd segment.
Am I missing something?

Re: Red 2 MPLS
I have the retail version and I guess the mastering is different.
Ugh. I want to rip this, what is the suggested way to figure out the proper playlist?

Re: Red 2 MPLS
Weird, I don't have 001 or 757 on my disc either.NOYB111 wrote:I played the bluray with a bluray player app and it came up with 19 chapters with total length of 1:54:08. Two mpls files fit that criteria, 001 and 757. I used 001 and it seems fine.

Re: Red 2 MPLS
Playing the disc in VLC shows the time at 1:58:54 (Title 93). The only MPLS with this time is 558. Depending on your "minimum title length" preference setting, it may or may not show up as title 93. There is no title with a length of 1:58.54 from what I can see. I do see that MakeMkv skip...

Why not just use the FLAC profile? You save space that way.

Where do I upload dump files?
I just got The Fly (1958 version that was just released by Fox) and it rips but plays back wrong (same problem as other Fox titles).
I have a dump file (38MB), how do I get this to support?
Thanks in advance.

Aspect Ratio is always 16:9
I'm wondering if there's a way I can get the tags of my movies to have the proper aspect ratio. All blu-rays ripped by MakeMKV are labelled as 16:9. If I Handbrake them, the correct aspect ratio will then be in the tags, but I don't want to have to Handbrake all my movies just for this. Any ideas? T...

How do I pass-through uncompressed PCM
I can pass through DTS, AC3 and DTS-HD with no issues, but how I pass through:
1) Uncompressed PCM (currently using Auto-passthrough option it's encoding it to AC-3)
2) True-HD
Advice appreciated!
Thanks in advance.

Re: MakeMKV crashes when trying to decode DTS-HD to FLAC
Arcsoft doesn't seem to have a x64 bit version.
Can someone point me to a 64x version of the .dll?

MakeMKV crashes when trying to decode DTS-HD to FLAC
I'm hoping somebody can help because I'm going nuts. I acquired dtsdecoderdll.dll from a newly installed Arcsoft TMT. When I try to decode DTS-HD to FLAC MakeMkV tells me the .dll is too old or being tampered with, then crashes. Any ideas? Only thing I can think of is a .dll mismatch between MakeMKV...
