Re: Confusion about Pioneer BDR-X13E-S vs. BDR-X13E-X

In the past they usually fixed some burning quality issues with newer media... if the developer releases MK fw yes but we dont know when or ...

Re: Confusion about Pioneer BDR-X13E-S vs. BDR-X13E-X

Re: Zombieland 4K UHD AACS 2.1

I have my original disc if that would be helpful. Well if your looking to see if that the original hash as im unsure the easy way would be remove privatedata.tar from makemkv data directory disconnect from Internet. And try and open that disc see what the hash says When finished just drop privateda...

Re: LG Optical Drive Firmware "Reset" method

My question is did you at any point power off the vantec case? By unplugging or switch.
Or were you bringing the PCs to the drive?

Re: Zombieland 4K UHD AACS 2.1

Email the dump file to svq@makemkv.com. If it's too big, upload it somewhere like googledrive or mediafire.com then email the download link to svq@makemkv.com Thanks for the info. I have one of these as well (Zombieland UHD Steelbook), although my dump file ends in CC8A. Hopefully this is a useful ...

Is there a way to do this without having to pay for a VPN or proxy server?
Yeah try changing your DNS and geoblocking settings as I said

Re: Settings for MakeMKV and VLC to avoid Pixelization

i believe this is a vlc and decoder issue not a makemkv problem i remember hearing bout vlc and some intel igpus just dont get along.
probably nothing you can do maybe new drivers or vlc updates fixed but idk
best just use a program that works on your hardware.

Re: LG-BH16NS55 flashed to LG-WH16NS60 (f/w 1-00DE) not reading discs

Thanks. Am going to give another LG a go - couldn't readily see any Pioneers. Will see how long the new one lasts. We currently get most of our new content through Disney+ or Prime, but with the way streaming services are going I can see us starting to buy discs again - really don't want to purchas...

Re: SDFtool Flasher

Re: Small Feature Addition

Hi, With regards to the 'Volume Key is Unknown for this disk' error.. and manually sending the AACS dump file to the specified email address. When this error happens and as a new feature to the program, would it not be better for the program to automatically open a small 'Backup Failed' Dialog Box ...

but I didn't think programs would get harder to run after buying a Silcon Mac.
thats exactly what i would have expected apple making it scarier to run anything out of their app store that they cant make $$$ on.

Re: LG WH16NS40 16X Blu-ray Drive Read Speeds

As the disk area being read gets towards the outer part of the disk, the speed will increase. "16x" only refers to the MAXIMUM speed you will see, not TYPICAL. There is a maximum RPM the drive will go; there is more data available to read, per rotation, as you move further away from the c...

I restate a commonly repeated point - a disk database with a list of the tracks to rip would be nice ..
