Re: Lord of the Rings + The Hobbit 4K (Finally!)
Ripping mine as we speak. I can hear my NAS crying already. I may have to move some stuff to the external storage attached to the NAS for now. This is going to be epically huge. The week of Xmas can't come fast enough cause that's when I'll be watching them all.

Re: Lord of the Rings + The Hobbit 4K (Finally!)
Not the issue. My nas is currently maxed out and has around 2.5tb left which will be gone soon. I need to build a bigger nas but it costs money.

For a near 4 hour movie you need a bathroom and refreshment break somewhere!

Re: Joining the UHD party but got a question about firmware
Yes leave it on 1.00. I've put this drive up against my 3 desktop drives (2 actual ns60 and 1 bw16d1ht all running ns60 1.00 firmware) and this little drive kicks the crap it of them. It may be a little slower but what good is speed when the rip fails 2 out of 3 times? This drive on 1.00 is magic. S...

Re: ISO Creation
ImgBurn falls into the "BD Authoring" category. My script will make a protected ISO that's 1:1 with the disc. Alternatively, I have a script that can make a decrypted folder backup and then use ImgBurn to master that to an ISO. This is NOT a 1:1 copy but it doesn't modify the disc structur...

Re: Time required to add discs
It's whenever Mike gets around to it. There is no set time. Can be minutes. Can be a week or more. Just depends on how busy he is.

Re: Resident Evil collection
Usually a sign of the machine messing with the connection. Firewall, antivirus, security software, etc can all block the connection.
