Re: ASUS BW-1601HT best firmware
Redyul, There is a regression with BD and DVD ripping speeds. In past versions ripping BD and DVD was 50 to 100% faster than 4K UHD . I remember observing speeds of 12 to 14x ripping a BD and currently it's around 4 to 6X. If you really wanted to,<doozah> maintains the library of daily builds so one...

Re: Recommended drive for non UHD discs?
I have a couple WH16NS40 with original 1.02 firmware that I want to flash to get rid of the sleep bug. I plan to use those for my UHD discs. However, I have a few hundred regular Blu-ray’s I’d like to get ripped and with my schedule it’s better if I can start a bunch all at once instead of coming b...

This drive and it's UHD Official cousin the BP60NB10 will continue to go unsupported by makemkv until a flasher that works over USB is released.

So anyone who buys via your eBay listings is out of luck on a warranty? Good to know. I'm sure you note that prominently in each list, being the man of integrity that you are.
Wait, "wee" ? "enquires" ? Chase is your mult isn't he? Pathetic. Bye for now indeed.

Where is the most recent modified LG flasher kept please? Also, is there a firmware dump cleaning tool handy? As in I've dumped the firmware from <a certain drive that did not have support> and wanted to clean the calibration data off of it before passing it out. Thank you! Here's the dump cleaner....

Re: For Sale: ASUS BW-16D1HT on MK3.10 FW
Well seeing as any drive shipped from Europe to the United States or anywhere else outside of Europe won't have a valid warranty I sure hope you give them something. You should state that up front: "I, asscom, sell drives without valid warranties, so buy em up cheap and hope I'm still here in a...
