Update:
Upgrade to 1.7.4 and all is fine. Make sure to use most recent dsall.svq file.

The SVQ files are needed for decryption, not MKV creation. In your case the decryption was already done (albeit in an unsuccessful way, it seems). Throw your backup away and make a new one. Thanks. Running OS X 10.6.8 MakeMKV 1.7.4 1.7.4 has not fixed the issues. Same result: /BDMV/STREAM/00001.m2ts' is corrupt or invalid at offset 44316672, attempting to work around Working with a full local back up, but results look the same.
