Not sure if this is too obvious but I've been successful in using the GUI-based Flashtool on a Windows emulator (VMWare Fusion) in my case. Windows 11 seems to work (and is free). Same here, just purchased a permanent key and it was sent immediately via email.
I've been using MakeMKV only for a few weeks but have found it to be solid and trustworthy
Having a permanent key is some peace of mind for the next beta key timeout.
