Perhaps someone has already submitted this maybe. I just changed my MakeMKV to use the latest keydb_eng and now it seems that it is able to access the content from the disc.

Hi all,

I saw that apparently there is a way to store keydb_eng in order to be used with MakeMKV. I tried opening Bugonia and it still gives me:

"The volume key is unknown for this disc - video can't be decrypted
Failed to open disc"

I tried downloading and placing the unzipped keydb.eng within ...

I found a temporary solution for myself. I set my system date back (by four weeks), so that it was earlier than July 31, 2025. That allowed me to continue working. :D


Was this on Mac or Windows? I tried setting my pc manually back before that time and I just get, “Evaluation period has ...
