Hey, I think we are having the same issue. Although mine says it is still original(unpatched) even after flashing many times with sdf and the command line. I also have an HP pc (HP Elitedesk 800 G3) so maybe it is an issue with hp? How can you be sure it is a power issue?

Flashing does nothing to my drive. I have flashed the firmware several times but on MKV it still says Original(unpatched) I have an A100 drive which seems to be pretty old and rare.
