Use AirVideo client/server app. It converts on the fly and stream to the ipad from inside and outside the LAN. Much slower BD ripping with purchased/latest build??
I have used an older freeware version a couple times and was able to get fantastic performance. Today I paid and upgraded to the latest build and my performance is 5-6X what I was experiencing before. I don't recall what speed I was getting before but I don't get past 2x currently Nothing has change...
