Oh I've been in denial too. Wasted far too much time blaming a Windows update, blaming bad discs, blaming everything I could bar the drive. Eventually bought a new drive and all the problems went away. As you say, drive fail

outlier - thanks for the information as I hit the same problem tonight and "9:1-5" saved the title for me too.
dcoke22 - I tried every DVD opening mode but it didn't work, title 9 still shows up as having zero duration.
