How does makemkv identify and get around intentionally bad sectors as part of copy protection on dvds
Im in the process of ripping my old dvd collection, but some of them are a bit scratched up. I was successful in ripping some of the worse offenders using ddrescue where makemkv would fail (even with 50 retrys set). But unlike makemkv, ddrescue cant really rip any dvds which have intentionally bad s...
