Re: Rip to NAS or to PC first? How to multiple discs?

This was very helpful to me. I was working on the most efficient workflow and completely forgot that I'd be adding r/w cycles to my SSDs, not a huge deal but good to know it isn't necessary. Also your TrueNAS sounds just like mine! Have you been able to get it to use a GPU for plex or whatever stre...

Re: Rip to NAS or to PC first? How to multiple discs?

I'm actually of the opposite opinion of a lot of people here... I use a computer running TrueNAS with six 18TB drives, in a RAIDZ2 configuration, with 32GB of RAM. Since I am concerned about wearing out my SSD, and TrueNAS is very aggressive about RAM caching, I've just been ripping backups straight...

Re: Flatpak can't seem to check keydb.cfg?

Evidently, despite people submitting dumps for it, it wasn't in the public keydb.cfg.

I can only assume there are multiple versions floating around. Thanks for the reminder to submit the dump.

Re: Public KeyDB Disc Submissions

Terminator, 1984, C3D9. If it's not too much trouble, please let me know when this is available - I need it to do some troubleshooting. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1UGO6_6zY4SM8xq52Sja_FCa8bLZly9WU/view?usp=sharing edit, MKB_RO.inf for the disk is below: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1XxiS5Amf...

Re: Flatpak can't seem to check keydb.cfg?

https://forum.makemkv.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=162444#p162444 I think the file should be named KEYDB.cfg on case sensitive file systems. As separate question, does MakeMKV indicate it is trying to download the latest HKs? Does it indicate success or failure? Sorry, I used capslock when typing it, ...

Flatpak can't seem to check keydb.cfg?

Hey, I installed makeMKV via flatpak, and have been using it successfully for months, until I tried to rip terminator in 4k recently. For some reason, there's still no hashed key available, so I downloaded the latest keydb.cfg, renamed it to KEYDB.CFG, and placed it in /home/[username]/.MakeMKV/ Des...
