The releases of MakeMKV for Linux were run through with GZip twice, making unarchiving them fail if you just use (for example) tar xfvz makemkv-oss-1.18.1.tar.gz To work around this, run "gunzip" on the archive, then rename the files to add the ".gz". Verify with the "file&q...
