LG BU40N enclosure?

Bought an LG 183663 (BU40N) slimline SATA Blu-ray drive and a generic USB 3 to slimline SATA cable. Seems to work fine ripping regular Blu-rays plugged into a USB 3.2 gen 2 port with 1.5 amps.

FWIW, I also was unable to rip my Number 23 DVD, with MakeMKV or AnyDVD, with my DVD drive or my Blu-ray drive. MakeMKV gives me a media read error, but the disc appears immaculate. I'm assuming a problem in the mastering process, either accidental or intentional, but I'm not wasting my time or ...
