i think it will do UHD but you may need to crossflash and then you lose the other junk that drives does I took a punt. we dont know yet if mk fw will enable UHD reading or if you will need to cross flash we will see in the next few months Hmm. It's rather difficult to justify the purchase not knowing whether it will actually work for UHD or not, on the other hand it's sure to sell out soon if I wait. What a gamble.

Does anybody know anything about the BDR-WX01DME which seems to be the only Pioneer drive available to purchase new in the UK now? How does it compare to the coveted BDR-X13/S13? It doesn't mention supporting UHD, but perhaps like many other Pioneer drives it could do with a firmware flash? Or, if a...
