Dune TV 101 and "Error: format is not supported"
I recently had to rip my movies again due to having lost them. I put it off for a year and ripped them again just recently. However for whatever reason now, some of the movies refuse to play on my Dune TV 101 Media player. It will give me the error message of "Error: format is not supported&quo...

Re: LPCM and MKV
Just want to make another comment. After a lot of testing, it turns out this wasn't a problem with MakeMKV at all. It was my stupid external drive corrupting the files. Although I'm not sure yet if its the external case itself, or the cable causing it.

Re: LPCM and MKV
Its possible my problem might be partly due to a bug in my Dune media player... I don't know. Dune ignores my questions, so I have no way of knowing. I thought it supported LPCM, at least according to Iboum.com it does.

Does that eac3to do converting to FLAC? I wish it wasn't a DOS type program, I really hate that. It makes it more of a pain to use.

Re: LPCM and MKV
I discovered the videos would start playing if I just ripped the movie and left the LPCM audio track out of it. Its weird why it caused the whole video to not even start playing. I suppose I could try what you mentioned, but its a lot of work that I shouldn't have to be doing. Plus I had trouble fin...

LPCM and MKV
I have a problem with most of the Blu-Ray Harry Potter movies. My media player is a Dune HD TV101. I read messages from about a year ago with what sounds like the same problem. But I am not able to play any of the mkv files I created from all of the Harry Potter movies, except for the last movie (Ha...

MKV vs ISO
I have been trying out MakeMKV. I've ripped a lossless file for both MKV and ISO for the same film (The Lord Of The Rings extended edition). However one thing I noticed in my Dune media player, is that the ISO file always has a higher Mbit/s rate than the MKV file does on the same scenes. The ISO fi...
