Sigh.. same here. And now after one of these crashes MakeMKV does not recognize the drive at all, even after reboot.

Same problem here using MakeMKV 1.7.0 on Windows 7 64bit with Pioneer BDR-206DBK 1.56. CPU does not go above 15%. However, I think the drive itself is fine because Nero Disc Speed goes up to 8X on a SL Blu-Ray. So there must be something wrong with MakeMKV?

MakeMKV reading speed limited?
Below I am comparing MakeMKV with Nero Linux 4 on a typical commercial movie BD. I am using an Asus BW-12D1S-U 12X Blu-Ray drive, which is supposed to read BD-ROMs at 8x.
